Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete Flooring
Advanced Reinforcement for Crack Resistant Floors
Steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC) floors are concrete floors that have steel fibres mixed into the concrete to enhance its properties. These fibres, typically made of steel, are distributed uniformly throughout the concrete mixture to provide additional strength, durability, and crack resistance.
During the last three decades SFRC was considered a new technology for construction Industry. However this technology has found high acceptance among today’s construction industry. Currently, steel fibers are used mainly in Industrial flooring, Tunnelling and Pavements etc. Construction time and durability are the main factors among the various advantages which help SFRC to command its superiority over other methods.
SFRC method is being in our country since 30 years. Laser screed flooring can be done with floor with liquid hardener polishing.
